Privacy Policy — Scene to Scene

This page is maintained by Scene to Scene to explain how we handle personal information when you use scenetoscene.com or book a session. It is not a certification or legal advice.

1. Who we are

Scene to Scene is an acting-coaching service operated by Frank Parrillo. Contact: info@scenetoscene.com.

2. What we collect

Booking information: name, email, phone (optional), city/region, session type, scene/script you upload, notes you share.
Account information (if you sign in): email and authentication identifiers.
Payment information: we do not process card data. Payments are made via Zelle directly between your bank and ours; we see only the confirmation you send us.
Minor participant information: when the actor is under 18, we collect guardian name, guardian email, and consent records. See our Minor Participant Terms.
Email subscriptions: email address and the resource you requested.
Technical data: minimal server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use it

To schedule, deliver, and follow up on coaching sessions.
To send you the resource or Zoom link you requested.
To comply with safety and recordkeeping obligations for minors.
To prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Service providers we use

Lovable Cloud / Supabase — database, authentication, file storage, transactional email delivery.
Zoom Video Communications — session delivery. Sessions with minors are recorded and stored in Zoom per our minor terms.
Zelle (your bank) — payments.
Google Search Console — site indexing diagnostics.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not currently run third-party advertising or behavioral analytics, and we do not use cross-site tracking. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.

6. How long we keep data

Booking records: up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
Uploaded scenes and self-tapes: deleted within 30 days of session completion unless you ask us to keep them.
Zoom recordings of minor sessions: retained per the Minor Participant Terms.
Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. This includes rights under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Canada's PIPEDA, and similar laws. To exercise any right, email info@scenetoscene.com. We will respond within 30 days. California residents may also designate an authorized agent.

8. Children's privacy (COPPA)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Bookings for minors must be made by a parent or legal guardian under our Minor Participant Terms. If you believe a child has provided personal information without consent, email us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our service providers operate primarily in the United States. If you use the site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using the site you consent to this transfer.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted transport (HTTPS), row-level access controls on the database, signed and time-limited upload links, and least-privilege admin access. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
